Jerry "Grant" Lewis
December 19 1979 - January 17 2006

Grant was a sort of loner when it came to "girl" relationships, not wanting to burden others with his life, In 2003, after reconnecting with his high school class mate, Anne, at their 5 year class reunion, he opened his heart and life to his "SPECIAL SOMEONE". Anne was a very special person in his life and he loved her very much. The best times of his last 2 years were the ones that he spent with her. Although she lived away from Licking, MO, they kept in very close contact and he would get real excited when they would have time together. When Grant began to get very ill, Anne took leave from her job in Texas and returned to Missouri to spend every minute by his side. She never left him again and gave him all the tender care and love that he deserved. The memories that we have of her beside him will always be with us. Thank you Anne. We Love You.

These pictures are the last ones taken in the fall of 2005 about a month before Grant became very ill. I remember that he came home from their weekend in St Louis and said that he had "the best time ever with Anne". It was just the two of them with no obligations or definite plans.
