Camp Heartland, New Jersey 1994

Every year CampHeartland has a candle light vigil for those living with HIV in their lives. It is seen as an inspiration for the children of CampHeartland. Many tears of both sadness and joy are shed during this time.

Another picture of Grant and Jeffro at camp "Grant was always someone who made me smile, whether it was in person, on the phone or just the mention of his name. He was a wonderful person and he will be missed by many." "PRINCESS JESS" CampHeartland Staff 1998

I had been a volunteer for Awareness at my high school and had done some work at the Ryan White Foundation, I went to a convention in Chicago and saw the Camp Heartland booth there..... I turned 18 at Camp Heartland.... I'd got invited to a get together at Grant's home during our break, but the administration would not let me go because I had two days left until my birthday and they wanted parental permission. Time went on and the second session started. I still got to work and hang out with some of the Coolest people, and Grant was their ring leader:) Live Strong, Chuck Margolis

Presenting "Grant Lewis" on the Journey of Hope Tour.

Camp Heartland came to Grant's school. At Grant's funeral, Neil said that Grant was Grant. He did not dress up when camp came to his school to speak, instead, he introduced them in a HOOTER'S t shirt.
