One of Grant's most favored past times --baseball. He was really ticked off when they tore down Busch Stadium as he thought it to be one of best around. Grant, the new Cardinal stadium is now up and running!!!! Grant with friends, Melissa & Stephen and Tabby at a St Louis Cardinal Baseball game ---2004 Grant also enjoyed playing golf and poker games with the guys.

Since Grant's birthday was only a week before Christmas it was really had for him to have a good birthday party so I started a tradition of having an "Out of School" party for him and his friends. Each year was a different theme. The first one was a water party with squirt guns, water hoses and finally, buckets. In the summer of 2004 his friends asked if I would plan a party for them like old times with silly games, music and lots of laughs. We planned a "Survivor" theme. Playing "Survivor" games

Posing at the party after the games were done. Grant is holding his little sister, MaKayla.

Grant and one of his very special "other mothers", Mona. Mona and her son Jake, one of Grant's very best friends, were always there for him.

Friends from Bethesda, MD, Linda and Andrea. Grant met them while a patient at the National Institutes of Health. The girls were both volunteers at the Children's Inn where we stayed during the many trips we made. Even though Grant was somewhat younger than they were their bond and mutual respect for each other was evident. Thank you Linda and Andrea for being that "SPECIAL" friend when Grant could not be at home.
