Grant was a very special person. I stop and think of all the mischievous things you and Kevin got into at NIH and was so thankful that the Angels were with the two of you at Dupont Circle. Those were some of the best years, I miss them very much. I thank God that he let our paths cross and we got to know you. The world will not be the same without you. I love you Linda. You and your family are in my prayers and thoughts everyday.

Hello Linda, I came across Grant`s memorial this evening, I know what a special person he was and the many people`s lives that he touched throughout his short life, when I read the Licking paper a few months ago and seen where he had passed away I was very saddened, losing a child to any means is the hardest thing we as parents will ever go through, I only wish a cure had been found for Grant. He`s in a happier place now and I know he`s watching over your family.

The strength and compassion of not only Grant, but the entire Lewis family is hard to capture with words. No matter how hard I try to find the words to express my gratitude for having known Grant, these letters strung together, don't seem to form the words that can do justice for the love and warmth Grant brings to my heart.

Grant is truly a teacher and a hero...so much more than I am able to describe...He honestly changed the way I think and accept life. Having Grant as a friend is a gift I will cherish for the rest of my life!

The memories of the times spent with Grant always brings a smile to my face. So, THANK YOU to Grant and his family each and everyday for changing this girl's life because I know I was touched by an ANGEL!
